Solyte is an extremely lightweight material that provides cushioning and momentum. It is similar in durability and performance to the SpEVA.
It incorporates the silicone-based Asics Gel system, both at the forefoot and at the heel. The GEL on the heel provides cushioning in all directions, absorbing impact forces and giving stability to the foot during the contact of the heel to the ground. And the GEL at the front reduces the load forces as the foot moves into propulsion, improving performance and minimizing the risk of an injury.
